On September 28, VIAMETRIS brought a small selection of distributors and partners together at the legendary Magny-Cours circuit in France for a day away from emails, video calls and the usual business routine.

In an increasingly digital world, where remote meetings, instant messages and AI are becoming part of our daily work, we believe that making time for real conversations and genuine human connections matters more than ever.

Tryin the Viametris caterham at Magny-Cours was our way of saying thank you to some of the people who are helping VIAMETRIS grow.

A day away from the usual routine

On September 28, we stepped away from the usual work environment and welcomed a small group of VIAMETRIS distributors and clients to Magny-Cours, one of France's most iconic motor racing venues.

There was no product presentation, no formal training session and no sales meeting planned for the day.

Instead, the focus was simple: spending time together.

The day included time on the circuit, followed by lunch, giving everyone the opportunity to talk, exchange experiences and simply enjoy each other's company.

Of course, VIAMETRIS technology was never far from the conversation. Discussions naturally turned to the mobile mapping market, customer expectations and how the industry is evolving. But this time, there was no agenda to follow. And that was precisely the point.

Why Magny-Cours?

There was something fitting about choosing a racing circuit.

VIAMETRIS is a technology company built around precision, performance and speed. The MS-96 is designed to capture high-density 3D data efficiently across a wide range of environments, from roads and railways to buildings, industrial sites and forests.

But Magny-Cours offered something that a technology demonstration cannot: an opportunity to experience those ideas in a completely different setting.

And once the cars came onto the track, the atmosphere changed.

For some, getting into the car came with a small, or sometimes not so small, knot in the stomach. The combination of speed, adrenaline and a racing circuit made sure that this was definitely not another day in the office :).

VIAMETRIS has built an international network of distributors and partners across multiple markets. Today, our solutions are supported by a growing partner network across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and beyond.

They are often the people our customers meet first. They demonstrate the MS-96 mobile mapping system help professionals understand how mobile mapping can fit into their workflows, provide local support and bring valuable feedback from the field back to VIAMETRIS.

Their role goes far beyond selling equipment. They help us understand different markets, different customer expectations and different ways of working. And in return, we want to make sure that the relationship we build with them is not limited to products, contracts and sales figures.

Making space for real conversations

Modern technology makes it easier than ever to work internationally.

A distributor in another country can speak to the VIAMETRIS team in France in seconds. A customer can receive a dataset digitally. A technical question can be solved remotely. AI is increasingly changing the way companies communicate, create and work.

But not everything can, or should, be done remotely.

Sometimes, the most useful conversation happens over lunch. Sometimes, a relationship becomes stronger when people spend a few hours together without an agenda. And sometimes, getting into a racing car together is a much better way to get to know someone than another video call.

From technology partnerships to long-term relationships

The day at Magny-Cours was deliberately organised for a small selection of our partners. With distributors and partners located across the world, it is not yet possible to bring everyone together in France at the same time.

As the VIAMETRIS partner network continues to grow, we hope to create more opportunities to bring our partners together, in France and, one day, in other parts of the world too.

Our ambition is not simply to build a larger network. It is to build a stronger one.

A network where partners know the people behind the technology, where experiences and ideas are shared openly, and where everyone has a role in moving the company forward.
