Yes. One of PIMMS’s functions is to integrate control points into the project in order to correct and constrain the trajectories. In addition, the processing chain used to merge the scans together (the merging stage) significantly reduces the need for control points compared with many competing systems. Thanks to the merging function, the overall adjustment can be constrained, which drastically reduces trajectory drift. As a result, we can achieve a highly accurate final project while requiring fewer control points than many other systems.
